Young Americans Fan Fiction
September 2, 2001
Ok, call me weak. I've succumbed to peer pressure...LOL. I swore that this site would not turn into a YA fan fic site - and that is still not my goal here- but I am going to post a few things. Since FFN has had so many technical problems lately and RR isn't updated as often anymore, I'm going to post the journal stories here. I get a lot of email asking for them (thank you, by the way) and several people suggested that I post fan fic here, so I'm going to compromise. I will post the journal stories here and send out emails when they have been updated.
For those of you who don't know, Dear Diary came first and the basic premise of the story is: "What if Jake had kept a diary of her time at Rawley Academy for Boys?" Later, I got the idea to do the same thing, but from Hamilton's point of view, since it was my guess that there weren't many people he'd be able to talk to about Jake and his feelings. Although Dear Diary came first, they are companion pieces. I've been working to bring Hamilton's Journal up to the same point as DD. Once I get there, the stories will be updated at the same time.
I'd also like to thank everyone who has emailed me and asked about the stories or sent feedback on them. I love you all! It's a wonderful feeling to know people are enjoying what you write. It also helps me stay motivated to keep writing. As long as there is interest, I will continue the journal stories. And I'm always interested in feedback or constructive criticism.
Ok, enough said. Time to read. :)

I am so happy to add Camisha's work to the site since Required Reading is not being updated right now. As some of you may know, Camisha is in Africa with the Peace Corps. I've enjoyed all of her stories and if you enjoy these two, why not send her some feedback? We all know feedback helps keep the word processors going! Her email is: camisha_r@yahoo.com
