Fur-free, after a fashion, in L.A.

Jennie Garth, Amy Smart, Rachael Leigh Cook and other stars will co-host The Fur Free Party, "a celebration of compassionate style and fashion . . . a non-confrontational event" put together by designer Danny Seo and happening Wednesday in L.A. - smack-dab in the middle of Fashion Week there.

It's sponsored by Clean and takes place place at Smashbox Studios in Culver City (8 p.m. to midnight) to benefit the Humane Society. Also expected to attend: Gail O'Grady, Ryan Seacrest, Donna D'Errico, Dick Wolf, Tangi Miller, Aimee Osbourne (yet to appear on "The Osbournes") and more.
