Heather (Heather Matarazzo) is sitting on a bench outside the Principal's office.  Brian (Ian) approaches her.

B:  "Excuse me, are you Heather Wiseman?"

(no response from Heather)

B:  "You are, aren't you?  My name's Brian.  I'm with the Bugle."

H:  "The school paper?"

B:  "I'd like to talk to you, interview you.  If that's okay."

H:  "Yeah, sure."

B:  "Cool."

H:  "Yeah."

For those of us who enjoy good sarcasm, here is what Television Without Pity had to say about the scene.

Heather looks glum until a super cute boy walks up and asks, "Are you Heather Wiseman?"  Heather looks all "boing!"  The cutie says, "I'm Brian, I work for The Bugle."  Heather's like, the school paper?  Yeah -- and Brian wants an interview!  Woo hoo!  Heather beams.  Things are looking up!
