From Roger Avary's Journal September 4, 2002:
The new poster is here -- and boy, is it weird! It was designed by New York artist Eric White, who I hired years ago to do a painting of Al Pacino as Salvador Dali, for my film about Dali. Eric came up with this...which is one of the coolest and strangest posters I've ever seen. It reminds me of an old poster from the 60's -- that was too weird to be made in the 60's. Now, tell us what you think -- and tell me that this isn't one that you'd trip out on at the multiplex. Like it or hate it, I doubt people will be able to pass by it without at least looking at it. Very strange.
